Rapper O.D.B. From Wu Tang Clan Once Witnessed A Car Accident And Organized A Group To Lift A…

O.D.B., the founder of Wu Tang Clan, notorious for his profanity ridden rapping and his early death following a drug overdose, had a touchingly human side to him.
The rapper, whose real name was Russell Tyrone Jones, once saved a 4-year-old girl who had been in a serious car accident. The girl was trapped underneath a Ford Mustang and O.D.B., who was recording a new album in a studio nearby, immediately jumped outside and quickly organized a group of people who managed to lift the car up and pull out the little girl.

She had suffered serious injuries and second degree burns from the car engine and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
O.D.B. later admitted that he visited the hospital several times to get updates on the girl’s recovery but never introduced himself to the family and staff, nor did he flaunt the fact that he was a celebrity.
This incident happened back in 1998 when the rapper was only 20 years old. Later on he continued working with his band Wu Tang Clan and as a producer for the Fugees. Unfortunately O.D.B. got involved in criminal activity which led to problems with the police, incarceration and to his untimely death in 2004 from a drug overdose.
