Daniel Radcliffe, who is best known for his major role in the Harry Potter series had a stunt double whose name is David Holmes – a 25-years old former competition gymnast.
David was hurt really badly while practicing for a new stunt in latest film from the series – “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”. The scene involved a sequence with a flying harness and an explosion. After the explosion, David fell onto the ground. It turned out that the explosion paralyzed his legs, as he wasn't able to feel them anymore. The poor stunt double was immediately transported to Watford General Hospital, but after considering the prospect of him suffering from serious spinal injuries, he was moved to a specialized spinal injury hospital for further treatment.
